We’ve got a horror movie news update triple header this week! A Quiet Place: Day One, a prequel to the hit 2018 movie A Quiet Place, has now begun filming. The film is being helmed by the director of Nicholas Cage’s Pig which saw much critical acclaim. The popular YouTube shorts series The Backrooms will be getting turned in to its own horror movie from famed production company A24. And lastly for horror news this week, Freddie Prinze Jr. and Jennifer Love Hewitt are expected to return for a new I Know What You Did Last Summer film. The film is expected to be a somewhat reboot in the same vein as Halloween 2018 and Scream 5.
